Here's a new little service we hope to provide monthly - 3 tips to save money, increase your fishing pleasure, elucidate your mind or just plain confound.
The tips for January 2009 are:
1. Big Y Flies http://www.bigyflyco.com/ is offering 10% off to all Tennessee residents the month of January. Just type in TN in the promotion code. I just ordered some streamers and zonkers and was well pleased with the quality and got the order in about 3 days.
2. TU on TV. "On the Rise", the Trout Unlimited supported fly-fishing show is back on the Outdoor Channel (270 on local comcast I think). Great show and rumor has it they were in Arkansas on the White and Little Red and caught a beast.
3. TU in the Boro' - we've been working with the Cumberland Chapter of Trout Unlimited and they are going to hold their February meeting here in Murfreesboro - more details to follow.
